Dumbest Woman In America Goes Viral

"The deer crossing sign is there to, you know... tell the deer where to cross."

This woman in North Dakota calls into a radio show because she has exhausted all other media outlets.

She's had three accidents involving deer in the last few years and says she notices that it's always been where there is a deer crossing sign.  So she proposes to move the signs to a less populated area that would be safer for drivers.  Like a school zone where kids cross.

"Why are we encouraging deer to cross at the interstate?  I don't get it."

No.    You don't.

She doesn't get that the deer don't cross the road because that's where the sign is, but that the sign is posted to alert drivers that's where the deer cross.  

Even after the radio host tries to explain this concept, she cuts him off and presses her knowledge on him of the signs and the deer.

I've lived in South Dakota and I know that deer herds are rather large throughout that region of the country, less so with this lady on the road, but most people understand this.  

Except this one particular lady.

I thought everyone on the planet had heard this story, but when I talked to my mother yesterday she laughed so hard she couldn't hear the whole tale. 

I had to tell her twice.

I really hope that people in other countries don't think that all women in America are this naive.

I'd read about it and almost felt bad for how bad she was being beat up on the internet, but I had listened to the actual call yesterday and after shaking my head, realized she really is the dumbest person in America.
